The Association became an implementing partner of IOM in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions

The Association for Communities Participatory Development has started a partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM Ukraine) in Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kirovohrad regions. We will work together with communities to strengthen their capacity for recovery, development and participation.

Project communities

  • Valkivska and Berestynska (Kharkiv region)
  • Kropivnitska and Oleksandriyska (Kirovohrad region)
  • Voznesenska, Voskresenska, Pervomayska (Mykolaiv region)

Project goal

📌Our goal is to increase citizen participation in decision-making, provide technical support, and implement innovative interaction practices.

What is special about this project?

🔸Community-based — solutions are born from within, through the participation of residents, local governments, and civil society organizations.

🔸Multi-sectoral — we involve everyone: from IDPs and women to youth representatives, civil society organizations, and local authorities.

🔸Localization — change starts on the ground, where communities independently develop and implement recovery and sustainable development plans.
