Creation of Social Cohesion Hubs in Frontline Communities
The Association for Communities Participatory Development has established six Social Cohesion Hubs in partner communities across Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
📍 Communities where the Hubs were established:
- Shyrokivska community (Zaporizhzhia Oblast)
- Chernihivska community (Zaporizhzhia Oblast)
- Zlatopilska community (Kharkiv Oblast)
- Novovodolazka community (Kharkiv Oblast)
- Tomakivska community (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast)
- Pereschepynska community (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast)
These six Social Cohesion Hubs have become vital centers of social activity, welcoming over 2,500 visitors. Throughout 2023–2024, we implemented a series of initiatives to develop the hubs, including coordination meetings with communities, promotional activities to engage visitors—particularly vulnerable groups—as well as strategic sessions and events aimed at strengthening social and legal services and fostering community cohesion.
Today, the Hubs have evolved beyond just physical spaces. They are vibrant centers of life, filled with inspiration, collective efforts, and the warmth of human connection. Here, dreams and ideas come to life, transformative decisions for communities are made, and a sense of unity is cultivated—offering support even in the most challenging times.

The Hubs welcome people of all ages, professions, and backgrounds, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for everyone. They are places where you truly feel: you are not alone.

The Social Cohesion Hub has become a key space where the community has united its efforts to address critical issues. Through its activities, we have fostered an effective dialogue between local authorities and residents, as well as created opportunities for events that inspire community development. The atmosphere within the Hub encourages open communication, the generation of ideas, and finding solutions to urgent problems. It is a place where collective decisions are made, and a shared commitment to the growth and resilience of our community is felt.

Eight Local CSOs from Four Regions of Ukraine Completed Organizational Development Training
As part of the “Way to Protection and Durable Solutions” project, the Association for Communities Participatory Development conducted a seven-day organizational capacity strengthening program for eight local civil society organizations (CSOs) from Dnipropetrovska, Kyivska, Kharkivska, and Chernihivska oblasts.
