Creation of Educational Spaces in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
In November 2024, the Association for Communities Participatory Development opened three educational spaces, which have become key centers for fostering and supporting the educational process in local communities.
💡 What is an open educational space? It is a modern learning environment that combines traditional education with interactive technologies, group work, creative labs, and opportunities for personal development. These spaces are designed not only for school hours but also for extracurricular activities, offering students a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
📍 Communities where the educational spaces were established:
- Tomakivska community.
- Verkhivtsevska community.
- Pereschepynska community
What opportunities do these spaces provide?
🔸 Integration of modern digital technologies into the learning process.
🔸 Organization of interactive lessons, workshops, and training sessions for students.
🔸 Strengthening communication between students and teachers.
🔸 Supporting children and youth in their initiatives and creative projects.
"Our Association supports educational initiatives because education is not just about textbooks — it’s about civic awareness, critical thinking, respect for human dignity, and the right to a decent life. In times of crisis, investing in education is not a luxury but a necessity. Every learning center, every training, and every workshop is a step toward empowering communities that can independently make decisions and shape their future. That is why we are committed to ensuring that education remains accessible, even in the most challenging times. We create spaces where people can not only gain knowledge but also find support, inspiration, and new opportunities for growth."
Leonid Donos, Executive Director of the Association for Communities Participatory Development
Each educational space is equipped with modern technology, furniture, literature, musical instruments, and interactive games, allowing for a wide range of educational activities.
